Olivia Brix

Olivia Brix (DK) is a visual artist currently based in Bergen, Norway, where she is pursuing her Master’s in Fine Art. Her practice is rooted in ceramics at the intersection of sculpture and performative processes, exploring ritualistic behaviours and symbols through an organic visual language. She investigates how landscape, emotion and dynamic forces take shape through clay and fire, drawing inspiration from metaphorical narratives that merge into abstract forms. Currently, she is experimenting with new firing methods and developing glazes from raw materials, deepening her engagement with clay as a metaphor for the body and landscapes that carry traces of time and history. Her newest works emerge from an intimate connection with the surrounding natural environment, laying the groundwork for a new chapter of ecological reflection.
